Josh Tickell is an award-winning filmmaker, bestselling author, and internationally recognized expert on sustainability and regenerative agriculture. He first rose to prominence with his groundbreaking “Veggie Van” tour in 1997, where he crossed the U.S. in a van powered by used cooking oil to promote renewable energy. His debut documentary Fuel won the Sundance Audience Award and was shortlisted for an Academy Award, followed by impactful films like The Big Fix, Pump, and Good Fortune. In 2020, he co-directed the acclaimed documentary Kiss the Ground, narrated by Woody Harrelson, which spotlighted the power of regenerative agriculture in addressing climate change.
Tickell is also the author of several influential books, including From the Fryer to the Fuel Tank and Kiss the Ground, and holds degrees in Sustainable Living and Film.
