Lukas Visek has been a member of the cabinet of Executive Vice-President of the European Commission Frans Timmermans since 2019. He is responsible for the Farm to Fork Strategy, agriculture and the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy as well as the Zero Pollution initiatives. Lukas started working at the European Commission in 2001 as task manager for the Czech delegation after spending three years in the Czech Ministry of Agriculture as policy officer. He graduated as an economist from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.
