Dr. Marie Brueser is the Senior Corporate Venture Manager at EIT Food, Europe’s leading food innovation initiative co-funded by the European Union. In this role, she connects startups with corporate partners to foster agrifood, sustainability, and technology innovation. Her work facilitates pilot projects, proof-of-concept studies, and scale-ups, bridging the gap between emerging technologies and industry needs.
With a PhD in plant genetics, Dr. Brueser has led multinational sustainable development projects funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She has also managed global agrifood communities and accelerators, including Thought For Food.
