Miriam Ueberall has spent over two decades at the intersection of food science, technology, and organizational change — leading R&D at Flora Food Group as Chief R&D Officer, as VP R&D International at Kraft Heinz, and across multiple markets and categories during 19 years at Unilever. She has seen firsthand what it takes to move large, complex organizations forward, and what gets in the way.
Her relationship with AI in food R&D goes back further than most. She ran her first AI formulation pilot about six years ago, watching an algorithm match a product brief in minutes that would have taken a human team weeks. That experience changed how she thinks about the role of technology in innovation, and she has been building on it ever since. Today, Miriam advises food and CPG organizations on Innovation, R&D transformation and AI adoption, and serves as Strategic Head Europe at Turing Labs, an AI-driven platform purpose-built for food R&D teams.
