Annie Ryu is the founder and CEO of The Jackfruit Company and jack & annie’s, ventures that turn jackfruit into sustainable, plant-based meat alternatives. A Harvard graduate and former pre-med student, she discovered jackfruit’s potential while working in India and shifted her focus to social entrepreneurship. Her work has created the world’s largest jackfruit supply chain, supporting over 1,700 farming families, and earned her recognition from Forbes and others for her impact in food innovation and sustainability.
