Gianpiero Menza is an International Development Professional with expertise in scoping and building science-based innovations and strategic partnerships with both private and public sector to support the transition to sustainable development. He has extensive expertise in business strategy, and management, development finance/impact investing, venture capital, stakeholder engagement and resource mobilization strategies.
Gianpiero is driven to leverage impactful solutions and innovative financing mechanisms to address complex social challenges while contributing to the advancement of the economies of developing countries. MA in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from the Bocconi School of Management and a PhD in “The Economics and Management of Natural Resources” completed as a Junior Visiting Fellow at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. He is a former sailor of the Italian Sailing Team and currently a competitive triathlon athlete.
