Katarzyna Gil is Principal of Sustainable Food Systems at ICOS Capital, a collaborative venture capital firm specializing in deep-tech investments. With over three years of experience in FoodTech and AgriTech, she leads investments by identifying opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting portfolio companies’ growth strategies. Kasia holds a master’s degree in pharmacy and a Ph.D. in Food Chemistry. Her research focused on green extraction techniques, food science, and food waste valorization, including international collaboration on the BESTMEDGRAPE project, which explored sustainable business opportunities using Mediterranean grape-based nanotechnologies.
