Kevin Parekh is the co-founder of Proeon, a company focused on developing high-performance plant-based protein ingredients that enable sustainable and nutritious food solutions. With a strong techno-commercial background, Kevin brings deep expertise in alternative protein development, non-dilutive and equity fundraising, strategic partnerships, investor relations, and open innovation.
He holds a Master’s degree in Medical Biotechnology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) from IRMA. Kevin co-founded Proeon alongside Ashish Korde with the vision of creating next-generation plant proteins that power healthier and more sustainable food systems.
Under his leadership, Proeon has gained international recognition, including being named a World Economic Forum Tech Pioneer, featured in the FOODTECH 500 list of the world’s most promising AgriFood startups, and honored with the OHSSAI Excellence & Sustainability Award.
