Victor de Leeuw began his career at Barclays Investment Bank in London, after which he moved into deeptech venture at US-headquartered Paladin Capital. He was a Principal at Velocity Capital Fintech Ventures, where he focused on early-stage fintech companies. Most recently he is Principle Seed at Graduate Ventures, with both international experience and strong investing expertise.
Graduate Ventures is the largest alumni-driven venture capital fund and startup platform in the Netherlands, focused on accelerating early-stage technology companies. It provides “smart capital” (funding, network and expertise) to promising startups in the pre-seed, seed and Series A stages.
The fund focuses on ambitious founders and academic startups, originally from Delft and Rotterdam, and now also in Wageningen. The fund is backed by more than 200 successful entrepreneurs who support the next generation. In addition to capital, Graduate Ventures connects startups with established organisations in the ecosystem to help kickstart entrepreneurship.
The fund is closely connected to TU Delft, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and more recently Wageningen University & Research (WUR).
