Empowering Change Through Data Visibility

This session spotlights the transformative power of accessible sustainability data in agriculture. As the demand for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosures grows, both large and small producers are urged to adopt transparency. This not only paves the way for more sustainable food systems but also positions companies, especially startups, as leaders in the push for accountability and environmental stewardship.

Smaller enterprises, including startups eager to carve their niche within the supply chain, find themselves at a crossroads. Despite often being outside the immediate purview of sustainability disclosure mandates, these companies are encouraged by corporates to partake in sustainability audits. This session will highlight why such participation is not just a regulatory hoop to jump through but a strategic move. For startups, embracing transparency and sustainability auditing offers a unique proposition: the opportunity to distinguish themselves within the marketplace through clear, accessible data on their sustainability practices.
