Furqan Meerza brings a rich blend of culinary expertise and innovation to his role as R&D Chef and Gastronomic Consultant at BCC Innovation, the world’s first technology center specializing in gastronomy located in San Sebastian, Spain. His journey through the world of high gastronomy includes a tenure as Chef de Partie at the renowned Restaurant Noma in Copenhagen in 2022, and at Restaurant Mugaritz in San Sebastian from 2019 to 2021.
Furqan has trained in the prestigious kitchens of 2 Michelin-starred Restaurant Noor in Cordoba and the historically 3 Michelin-starred L’Astrance in Paris.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition in Bombay, India, where he was born and raised.
